Items usually reach their recipient the next working day and can be posted from Monday through Saturday.
Pick-up
Customers generally need to post their Warenpost items themselves. Smaller items can be posted via letterboxes, and all Warenpost items can be handed in to a Deutsche Post postal outlet. Warenpost items may not be posted at Packstations or parcel shops or be handed over to a parcel carrier. A special collection service is available for customers with more than 6,000 items per year. Delivery
Delivery of Warenpost items is always documented by the deliverer, including the delivery of notified items to a Deutsche Post postal outlet, to one of the more than 14,500 Packstations and Poststations or to a P.O. box. Delivery via the Filiale Direkt service is not possible.

Delivery options such as preferred location, preferred neighbor and item notification can also be added.
