Transit time

Items usually reach their recipient the next working day and can be posted from Monday through Saturday.

Pick-up

Customers generally need to post their Warenpost items themselves. Smaller items can be posted via letterboxes, and all Warenpost items can be handed in to a Deutsche Post postal outlet. Warenpost items may not be posted at Packstations or parcel shops or be handed over to a parcel carrier. A special collection service is available for customers with more than 6,000 items per year. Please contact your local sales representative for more information.

Delivery

Delivery of Warenpost items is always documented by the deliverer, including the delivery of notified items to a Deutsche Post postal outlet, to one of the more than 14,500 Packstations and Poststations or to a P.O. box. Delivery via the Filiale Direkt service is not possible.

Delivery options

Delivery options such as preferred location, preferred neighbor and item notification can also be added.

You may seal your Warenpost items before posting them. Deutsche Post is, however, permitted to open them for inspection purposes.

Items are to be posted at Deutsche Post postal outlets or bulk mail acceptance offices; letterboxes can also be used for up to 20 items (item size permitting). Warenpost items may not be posted at Packstations or parcel shops or be handed over to a parcel carrier.

Larger volumes of Warenpost items are to be posted or held for collection separately from other items and separated into items <3 cm and >=3 cm thick. Mail trays or mail tray carts, if used, must always be properly labeled.
