How the app-controlled Packstation works

  • 1. Register

    Register for DHL Packstation and install the Post & DHL App (for Android and iOS).

    Tip: Has a shipment addressed to your home address been redirected to one of the app-controlled Packstations? Then you do not need to register. All you need is the Post & DHL App and the notification code.

  • 2. Addressing a shipment

    To receive a parcel at the Packstation, enter your name, Postnumber and the postcode and town of your chosen Packstation as the delivery address. As soon as your parcel arrives, you will be informed by e-mail and in the Post & DHL App and receive your pick-up code.

  • 3. Receive parcels

    Standing in front of your Packstation, open the Post & DHL App and, in the Packstation section, tap the shipment you want to pick up. The App guides you through the next steps.

  • 4. Sending returns and other franked parcels

    Sending is possible without registration: Open the Post & DHL App, go to the Packstation area, tap on "Send" and follow the instructions.

Pick-up is easy:

  • Download the Post & DHL App (for iOS and Android).
  • Take your notification code (on the notification card or in the digital notification) to the specified Packstation.
  • Open the app, click "Pick up" in the "Packstation" section and follow the instructions in the app.

The new Packstations are not operated via a display on the Packstation like the others, but rather via an app on your smartphone. The app is available for iOS and Android devices. You can receive and send parcels at the new Packstation.
